In high-latitude regions, winters are severely cold with consistently low temperatures, offering excellent natural conditions and making snowmaking relatively easy. Therefore, ski resorts here prioritize high snow production volume and exceptional stability. Large-scale fan-type snow guns are usually the preferred choice. These machines deliver massive snow output and wide coverage, operating continuously and efficiently in extreme cold (e.g., -30℃ to -40℃). They can rapidly cover large ski slopes, meeting the operational demands of professional competitions and large-scale resorts.

In contrast, mid-to-low latitude regions experience relatively warmer winters with frequent humidity fluctuations, posing the challenge of snowmaking near the critical temperature threshold. Consequently, the primary considerations here are the equipment's critical-temperature snowmaking capability and adaptability to low-temperature, high-humidity environments. Specialized high-temperature snow guns are required to ensure stable snow output in near-zero temperature and humidity conditions, preventing the snow from melting or clumping. Furthermore, these machines must feature quick start-up times and consistent output to capitalize on brief cold-weather windows, rapidly completing snowmaking operations to guarantee normal resort operations and provide a premium skiing experience for customers.

In summary, high-latitude regions focus on volume and efficiency, while mid-to-low latitude regions emphasize temperature adaptability and snow quality. Tailoring equipment selection to local conditions is the key to achieving optimal snowmaking results.
