Snow Parks: A Beginner's Equipment Procurement Guide

Writer: admin Time:2026-09-10 10:25:35 Browse:0℃

For beginners building a small-to-medium snow play park, there is no need to blindly purchase equipment. The priority should be to follow the principles of low cost, high popularity, and easy maintenance. Simply equipping the park with core snowmaking, recreational, and basic supporting equipment will meet daily operational needs.

The snowmaking machine is the core foundation of the park, directly determining the snowmaking and snow accumulation effects. A small site of around 3,000 square meters requires only one Wanfeng snow gun. For medium-sized sites ranging from 6,000 to 8,000 square meters, it is recommended to configure two units to ensure adequate snow depth and snowmaking efficiency. Additionally, supporting facilities such as a water storage pool, a stable power distribution box, and cables are necessary to meet the water and power supply requirements of the snow guns, ensuring continuous operation.

Recreational equipment should balance cost-effectiveness and fun. Beginners can pair snowmaking with non-powered equipment. Snow tubes are an absolute must-have; they are suitable for snow tube slides and have a broad appeal among families and teenagers. You can also add low-cost equipment like snow bicycles and snow excavators, which are easy to operate and maintain. If the budget allows, you can add a few powered rides, such as snow merry-go-rounds or small snowmobiles, to enhance the park's appeal and enrich the recreational offerings.
